Italian Girl Tattoo by SpikeJones67 Italian Girl Tattoo by SpikeJones67
Heidi was a trooper for doing this massive tattoo all in one sitting. This thing is 14" tall, on her thigh, took about 5 hours. Yes, I designed the tattoo and I tattooed the tattoo.

So if she loses weight, what will happen to the tattoo? (totally not trying to be disrespectful here, just curious.)

The tattoo will be fine is she LOSES weight, it might distort a little but colors will be brighter and still just as solid. if she GAINS weight, the tattoo stretches out and needs touch ups.

Oh my I love this one Spike, redheads are my favourite!! ;)

The lines flow really well. You've kept her really clean and simple with the colours and as a result she has a lot of punch to her!

Thank You sir! Been experimenting with mixing my own colors for skin tones and shadows, been trying to incorporate some of the same techniques I use in the digital coloring, putting some purples in the shadows, some yellows in the highlights. They're pretty subtle, it's a learning process.

Oh yes, I've been using purple in my skin shadows recently and it really does work wonders!

You're right though it is a gradual learning process. I'm also adding more red and pinks to my skin tones these days, trying to avoid the various shades of brown I used to end up with :P

Yeah same here. I like the tones I ended up with in the Justine Joli pic, but I'm not sure how I did that... haha. If yer not learning, yer not growing! There's already big changes and improvements from the earlier stuff in your gallery to now, I enjoy seeing your progress!
